As well as adding another means of censorship resistance, a hidden service gives an alternative trust path that doesn’t rely on certificate authorities nor DNS infrastructure.

It is expected that the site will continue to offer the same services that it does via Clearnet site, boasting of a team of developers and contributors that research, write code and develop software that enables users to verify payments and decentralize Bitcoin.

Users can now access the site via the .onion link shared, and are advised to use it with JavaScript disabled and employ the necessary safety preferences on the Tor Browser.
