Dread acquires v3 protocol which boasts of offering full protection

/u/Paris, one of the co-admins of Dread recently shared that the site has acquired a new v3 protocol which would help to protect the site from attacks by masking the locations of its directories as well providing a variety of other services to fully protect the site and its users.

A statement Paris shared on Dread on this latest development read,

I have finally gotten the time to setup the needed v3 fronts for dread. This was long (overdue) but it was a priority to make sure that those who were getting attacked were able to gain meaningful uptime.

Within days the end game script will be released to the public for all to use. This will be the start of a new golden age. Where innovation will rule.

Paris added,

The new fully protected v3 address is

http://dreadytofatroptsdj6io7l3xptbet6onoyno2yv7jicoxknyazubrad.onion

Please bookmark it.If you request too many things at once right now you should get a 500 error which will rate limit you. I’m going to correct to export a message soon.

Note: For any uptime checker, if you want to check for uptime you must either send a full GET or request for HEAD. Pretty much all other requests are either filtered or blocked.

Let me know of any bugs! :D

As shared before, the address with the v3 protocol is shared below and can be accessed and is functional as at the time of sharing of this article:
